A celebration of Dane County Community Gardens

The Gardens Network* cordially invites you to

a day of learning and sharing on

Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 9am-2pm

(registration, breakfast and networking from 8:30-9:30am).

At Warner Park Recreation Center

Why attend?  Great sessions for garden leaders of all ages, cultures and interests!
  • Youth track: bring your kids (ages 6-12) for garden-based activities in a session just for them: garden art, bike-blender smoothies, garden theatre, bee-keeping and more. Adults welcome.
  • How-to sessions to amplify your garden’s impact: composting 101, pollinators, people and place-making workshops
  • Leader support workshops: A Year in the Garden (managing your garden) and Strategies for Success with volunteers, plot-monitoring, garden security, etc.
  • Tracks in Spanish, Hmong and English
  • Multicultural seed-starting workshop
  • Community resource tables: meet local groups that share your goals
  • It’s our annual reunion – come network with garden friends!
  • Happy Birthday! The Gardens Network and The Gardens Coalition are one year old today and there will be cake 🙂
  • Bunky’s breakfast and lunch. Yum!
  • Time for Afternoon Q&A
